I hope that through this article, you will see how crucial it is to be strategic on your company’s logo design before making it official. Here are 11 Best Logo Fails of all time which I compiled for your amusement.
1. KIDS EXCHANGE
If you’ve always wanted a baby girl but have given birth to a boy, this is the place to be! Kidding! Kids Exchange often gets misread as Kid Sex Change. Notice that the spelling of their company is correct, but the lack of spaces made a huge difference!
2. JUNIOR JAZZ DANCE CLASSES
This one is tricky, but when you see it…. If you were in this class and you wondered why a lot of men enrolled, then I’ve got the answer for you! Still don’t see it? Look from a far, and focus on the space created between the arms and legs of the “dancers”. That should explain the increase in male students, yes?
3. THE COMPUTER DOCTORS
Do you have a problem with your “equipment” at work? Yes, I meant your computer. Did you think I was referring to something else? If you are, I should agree that this logo is quite confusing and a little bit awkward…
4. CHINA RESTAURANT
Are you hungry? China Restaurant is a must-visit! I heard they get visited by a lot of customers everyday. I’m concerned though, do they have some “buns”? Their logo kind of gives me an impression that that is their best seller!
5. CATHOLIC CHURCH’S ARCHDIOCESAN YOUTH COMMISSION
Would you believe that this is a logo for a religious institution? Well at first I didn’t, until I found out that it really is! To add to my horror, I found out it even won an award from the Art Directors Club of Los Angeles.
6. ARLINGTON PEDIATRIC CENTER
I’m not entirely confident I can leave my children in the hands of Arlington Pediatric Center. I’m sure they offer a warn and cozy environment, but their logo somehow speaks of too much and without a doubt unforgivable “coziness”. You see what I mean?
7. Kudawara Pharmacy
At Kudawara, your “needs” are surely “taken cared of”. I mean, they have wide variety of medicines you can choose from. I’m sure they also have utilities available. Lastly, I assume they sell some protection based on their logo!
8. BILLY BOY ENERGY DRINKThen there is this one… It’s pretty self-explanatory or not? It’s an energy drink right? I mean, no. Just no. Gross.
9. ISLAMIC UNDERSTANDING INSTITUTE
Another religious organization’s logo gone wrong? Even worse than the logo #5 is this. We all know how Islam values purity, especially amongst women. However, this logo just gives an absolute opposite impression. Do you agree?
10. A-STYLEA-Style’s logo is one good example of “bad design, great success” stories! The company behind this logo have intentionally designed it this way to a create a buzz and hopefully garner sales. Surely, the logo was a hit and a lot of people started buying their shirts!
11. LOCUM
Last but definitely not the least is a Swedish property management company called Locum. We understand that the logo works really well for the Swedish, but as Australians and probably anyone who can speak English, this one is a pretty funny coincidence!
